Stool Tests

Stool tests include:

  • H.Pylori - A type of bacteria which infects the digestive tract, potentially causing ulcers in the stomach or upper small intestine and may lead to stomach cancer. Once diagnosed, it is usually treated with antibiotics.

  • Occult Blood - A test to look for blood in the faeces that isn't visible by eye, which may be indicators for colon cancer or polyps.

  • Miscroscopy for parasites, ovas and cysts
